Our community is full of women already deeply invested in personal growth --practicing yoga, working on health, seeking outdoor adventures, building lives of purpose and leadership.
Many of us are extraordinary at practicing and exhausted at living.
We have no shortage of tools and insights, and are still looking for a way to carry what happens on the mat, or on the trail, into the rest of life.
|
Our inner work has led us to ask deeper questions: How do I thrive in a world that was not designed to sustain aliveness, meaning, and wholeness? What if the peace, power, and possibility we find on the mat (or on the trail) could be more fully lived in the rest of life? How can I design my next chapter — not from proving, pressure, and obligation, but from self-trust, creativity, and choice? |
You are invited to join Melissa Arthur, MA, PCC, NBC-HWC and a small, confidential circle of women meeting monthly at Sunflower Wellness Studio to practice self-leadership in community.
This experience is for the woman who is sensing that what built her current life can't carry her into what comes next. She's not necessarily aiming for a bigger life — she's yearning for a truer one.
So many of us are navigating by maps we didn't draw — routes built from what was expected, rewarded, and safe. This work is about honoring what we've created up until now, while also recognizing that those outdated maps won't take us where we need to go from here. Together, we will learn to navigate instead by an inner compass: your own sense of what's true.
This is not a yoga class. Embodiment practices and yoga philosophy are the doorway into that shift, not the destination. The work draws on Dr. Claire Zammit's research on women's transformation, as well as Melissa's experience coaching women beyond achievement-based success toward greater self-trust, purpose, resilience, and meaningful impact.
The Journey
All sessions meet Sundays 1:00 - 2:30 pm in Sunflower Wellness Studio in Downtown Lawrence KS.
Each gathering opens with a short teaching on the month's theme, moves through a breath work or guided visualization exercise, and holds space for individual reflection, group discussion, and coaching around what's arising — closing with an intention to carry forward into the weeks ahead.

INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT
Two 1:1 Coaching Sessions with Melissa, scheduled at your convenience, conducted on Zoom.
Every woman in the circle receives two private coaching sessions with Melissa.
Your first session happens before we gather as a group on November 15. We'll get clear on what you actually want from these eight months and map first steps you can begin right away. It also lets me understand where you're headed and what's been getting in the way, so you walk into the first gathering already known, and I can make sure the group conversation serves what matters most to you.
The second is yours to use whenever it serves you best — to work through something that surfaces mid-series, to catch up if you miss a gathering, or to save for the end, as a space to integrate the whole eight months before you step forward.

MOVEMENT ONE ·READING THE TERRAIN
OCT 25: OPTIONAL INTRODUCTION Beyond the Horizon What if the peace, power, and possibility you find on the mat (or on the trail) could be more fully lived in the rest of your life? Together, we'll sense into the possibilities just beyond the horizon — not the life you've already planned, but the one you can feel stirring underneath it. Who you are becoming. We will also uncover the old, familiar directions each of us has been unconsciously following that can get in our way. NOV 15 Approaching the Journey as Achiever vs Creator Two ways of holding the same life, side by side. Where the achiever proves, the creator authors — and most women can recognize where the second one is already stirring. DEC 13 Honoring the Achiever Gratitude for the identity that built everything up until now, and an honest look at the threshold where the old printed maps stop being enough. JAN 17 Vision & the Old Story Letting a real desire surface, freely — and meeting the old story that rises to protect her the moment she reaches for it. |
MOVEMENT TWO ·BECOMING THE NAVIGATOR
FEB 21 Inner Authority Trading old printed maps for a compass — building the self-trust to navigate from your own true north, rather than what's expected. MAR 21 Nervous-System Capacity Staying your course, expanding what you can hold as the winds change — the ability to stay open under pressure long enough to sustain meaningful shifts. APR 18 Traveling Companions From carrying everything alone to traveling with others — receiving support and trusting shared strength as a form of power. MAY 16 Creating What Comes Next Designing what's next with intention, and closing the circle — integrating nine months of work into one aligned next step. |
